Delicious Buffet Experience

I really enjoyed the buffet meals during my stay. The breakfast was excellent, featuring an array of traditional Akita and Japanese dishes. The beef steak was juicy and soft, and I couldn't resist the mini croissants! Dinner was also a delight, which made it more enjoyable with the complimentary alcoholic drink ticket for each guest. Overall, the food was among the best I've had at a hotel buffet!

Relaxing Onsen Experience

The onsen at Tazawako Lake Resort was absolutely wonderful! It had multiple pools, including both indoor and outdoor baths. I particularly enjoyed the spaciousness and cleanliness of the facilities. The sauna and cool baths offered a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring. I appreciated how late the onsen was open, granting me ample time to enjoy it every night!

Spacious Japanese-Style Room

The Japanese-style room I stayed in was enormous and incredibly comfortable. It had traditional tatami flooring and futons that made for an authentic experience. The view of Mt. Akita-Komagatake from my room was amazing! I also liked that the room was equipped with a private shower and toilet, making my stay all the more convenient and enjoyable.

Great Lounge Amenities

The lounge area was a pleasant surprise! It featured free drinks, including cold and hot options, which were always available. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the variety of entertainment options, like the manga lounge and board games. It was a perfect spot to unwind after soaking in the onsen, and I found it to be a great place to socialize a bit with other guests.

I had a wonderful short stay at this hotel! The large room was spacious by Japanese standards, and the variety of food was impressive. The onsen was a highlight, but the bathroom was quite tiny. One thing to note is that the lockers for skis could only hold two pairs, which was a bit limiting. Overall, a great experience with a few minor issues.

However, the bathroom was quite small and not ideal for anyone over 6 feet tall. The onsen was fantastic, making up for any bathroom inconveniences.
